PROMOTING INDEPENDENT LIVING FOR HOMEBOUND SENIORS AND THE DISABLED SINCE 1974.
At La Jolla Meals On Wheels, our mission is to promote independent living for homebound seniors and/or disabled persons by providing nutritious meals and caring visits in La Jolla and surrounding neighborhoods in University City.
This is a service in our local neighborhood to assure adequate nutrition to the temporarily or chronically ill, disabled, and the aged. Our parishioners volunteer to be drivers or deliver meals once a month in the late morning.
