Today the church celebrates The Feast of Saint Raymond of Peñafort, who happens to be my patron saint, because I am Raymond after my father. It’s always a good thing to know the feast day of your patron saint. Saint Raymond died in the year 1275 at the age of 99. He succeeded Saint Dominic as a Master General of the Dominican Border. He was known for his work as a collator of Canon Law, and is the patron saint of cononists and lawyers. Let us pray.
