Today the church celebrates The Feast of Saint John Eudes, the 17th century founder of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary, known today as the Eudists. The Eudists number about 470 religious. Their major charism is in training the clergy.

“To give credit where credit is due,” said Father Jerry, “this homily comes to you by way of one of my best priests friends, Michael Miller, who is a priest of the Monterey Diocese. He and I were chatting on the phone last week, talking about how we’re feeling about COVID and the new normal, and sheltering in place.”

Father Miller then shared a psychologist’s explanation of the “stages” that happened to us when we are sheltering because of the pandemic. You’ll find them to be interesting. Which stage are you in right now?
