Supporting Casa de los Pobres
The Franciscan Missionary Sisters have been serving the destitute and refugees in Tijuana since 1949. They reach thousands each week with their kindness and love. The needs of these poor are endless and especially urgent in the winter months.
Many All Hallows parishioners provide financial support throughout the year, but we come together to do even more during the Advent season. Any donation at this time will be used in a Christmas distribution.
Last year, families came early by foot or bus from distant “neighborhoods” to spend the cold night on the street outside the Casa for the event. This year, as well, they will be given a hot breakfast, food baskets, and blankets, and toys will be distributed to the children, making the feast of Christmas a happy one.
