Father Jerry’s new video is above. His homily is from weekday Mass for Friday, June 25th. Beginning next Thursday on July 1st, weekday worship at All Hallows will begin at 7:30 each morning. We will have Mass on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We will have our Communion Service on Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. We invite you to join us each morning before you use your gifts at work and in the community.

The healing of the leper in today’s gospel represents a liberation in Biblical times. Leprosy was thought to be a punishment for sin. It generally was not a fatal disease, but lepers were separated from their families and the general public because the disease was thought to be very contagious. And so lepers would feel not only unclean in body, but also in soul… for some sin they had supposedly committed.

In today’s video, Father Jerry offers comforting words for each of us, inspiring us to love one another as God loves us.
