DESCRIPTION:The Missionary Cooperation Plan is an annual program within the
  Catholic Church that facilitates visits from missionaries to local parish
 es to share their experiences and solicit prayer and financial support. It
  connects the global Church with local communities like All Hallows parish
  in La Jolla\, fostering a sense of shared responsibility for evangelizati
 on.\n\nThe MCP aims to educate parishioners about the Church's missionary 
 work and to raise funds for missionary organizations and dioceses. Mission
 aries\, representing various religious orders\, lay organizations\, and mi
 ssion dioceses\, are invited to give presentations at weekend Masses\, sha
 ring their experiences and needs. The program provides missionaries with a
 n opportunity to personally appeal for support and allows parishioners to 
 learn about the realities of the mission field and to fulfill their baptis
 mal call to mission.
