DESCRIPTION:Dec. 15th\, the Third Sunday of Advent\n\nPlease join us for Le
 ssons &amp\; Carols at 4:00 pm\n\nThe Festival of Lessons and Carols is a 
 service of Scripture and song that dates to the late 19th century. In this
  service\, we listen to nine Scripture lessons which recount the Fall\, th
 e promise of a Messiah\, the Incarnation\, and the Great Commission to pre
 ach the Good News. Each lesson is followed by a carol or other song that r
 eflects on the lesson's message and a brief prayer.\n\nOur Adult Choir\, S
 oloists\, Youth and Teen Choirs will perform lovely music after our Lector
 s read the Lesson.\n\nIt is a perfect time to slow down during the hectic 
 season and reflect more deeply about Advent and the coming of Christmas.
