Happy Halloween! In today’s homily, Father shares the fascinating history and inspirational description of traditions common for the Halloween Weekend. “The marvelous customs of Halloween are also All Saints and All Souls customs, and they help us to begin our month-long remembrance of the dead.”

Are you ready for this? Father invites you to visit a cemetery during November, but just wait till you hear what he wants you to do while you’re there!

If you’re a foodie, there isn’t a better time of the year. Father Jerry encourages families to celebrate the “bounty of the harvest” by preparing foods such as stuffed eggplant, peppers, cabbage, and even pumpkins filled with chili, or baked bread filled with cheese. Don’t forget the apple cider, caramel corn, and pumpkin pie… Yum!
