Stewardship of Faith
“Jesus told him, go your way; your faith has saved you” We might think that the contrast is between those who have faith and those who don’t. But there is also a contrast in the level of faith that is far reaching. There is a level of faith that causes you to commit to a whole way of life. It is like seeing Catholicism as a way of life. Instead of seeing yourself as merely belonging to a group of people that have certain standards to which you try to measure up, you belong to a group of people trying to live in a way that the Lord did.
Your faith is a gift, but the level your faith reaches is in your hands.
In God’s Hands
A hockey stick in the average person’s hands is worth about 33 dollars.
A hockey stick in Brendan Shanahan’s hands is worth about 3 million dollars.
A lot depends on whose hands it’s in.
Five loaves and two fish in the disciples’ hands could feed about 15 people.
Five loaves and two fish in the Lord’s hands fed thousands.
A lot depends on whose hands it’s in.
