Education is the way out of poverty. The Outreach/Social Justice Committee invites you to help with our annual “Back to School Drive.”
The charities which we assist every year have again asked for our help in providing needed back to school items for the school aged children they care in their care. The drive will run through August 23rd.
Bayside Community Center, seeking to foster a positive learning experience by sending their children back to school primed and ready to learn.
Casa de los Pobres, hopeful that their young people become equipped to break the grinding cycle of poverty in which they live if they can read and write.
Educators have told us what they need most: 100ct 3-hole paper packets, 1-subject spiral notebooks, pencil pouches/boxes, rulers, glue bottles, glue sticks, student scissors, wedge erasers, marker packs, crayon packs, 8 pack pencils, and backpacks.
Donate individual items or fill a backpack with one of each item.
If you want to contribute, but cannot do the shopping, we will happily do it for you! Just place a check in the collection made out to “All Hallows,” with the memo noting “back to school drive.” Or donate here with your credit card.
What we collect will be equally distributed.
